Inspired by the unity and beautiful balance of all matter and energy, red27 designs are clean and simple while unique and whimsical. With a strong focus on wear-ability, as well as design, my jewelry allows you to express yourself on a daily basis.
Created by me in my home studio, each piece is a wearable work of art. Using traditional methods, I work primarily with sterling silver, often incorporating copper and semi-precious stones as well.
I've been making my own jewelry for as long as I can remember. In 2003, I started a whole new level of creation. Working at a local bead store and attending junior college, I took my first small metals class. Immediately hooked, I was fascinated by the ability to manipulate metal and create my own "real" jewelry. In the spring of 2007 I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasizing in small metals at Southern Illinois University. Later that year, I opened my first online shop and have been sharing my art with the world ever since.
